I grew up on Hickory Street in the “big white house on the corner”. I guess you could say my author journey began with all the stories to be discovered within the walls and secret spaces of that old house. Outside was a treasure of magic among the apple, walnut and pear trees. Eventually I began writing poetry in addition to those stories, poetry about things that touch my heart.  My inner compass led me to work with children, inspiring me to dust off the cobwebs of my imagination and embrace growing some of my poetry into stories for children.  I am grateful that I am able to follow my heart and do what I  love.
